Back Painting Technique

For customers who prefer a smooth flat text surface on a sign, over raised letters; there tends to be two great options. The first is to use applied vinyl. The second is to use a method as shown on this particular sign we did in the past. It is called a "back painted" sign. As it's name suggests, the sign is reverse engraved on acrylic, then our production team fills the engraved areas on the back with the paint color that matches the customer's needs by hand. It gives the appearance that the text was printed beneath the surface. These signs tend to have a lower risk of vandalism or damage to the text. The creative options for these signs are endless. These signs look very professional and are great for any interior office or business setting.
