OUR PERMIT PROCESS
1. INTAKE FORM- We gather information with our intake form, about the property owner, tenant/sign owner and if necessary, who the electrician will be.
2. SUBMITTAL- We submit all required paperwork, drawings, site plans & applications required by the local municipality.
3. REVIEW- Each town, city, and county has it's own review process. Some take longer than others and the length of review can depend on the volume of permit applications the permit office is currently working through. We follow up and check back to keep your permit moving along.
4. APPROVAL- Once we receive notification that the sign permit has been approved, we proceed with production. We do not begin production until we receive approval. In the event a permit application if rejected, if production has begun, the customer would still be responsible for the cost of the sign. This is why we ensure we get approval before beginning production.
5. FINAL INSPECTION- Once your sign is installed, we call for a final inspection. If your sign is illuminated, your electrician can call for their electrical final inspection as well.
6. BILLING/COST- Your quote will note a line item for sign permit acquisition. This is the service fee for having us manage your permit process. The city/county permit fees will be added to the final invoice at the cost we were billed.
